Operations is where strategy becomes output. Whether the product is a manufactured component, a processed material or a service delivered at scale, the operations leader is accountable for capacity, cost, reliability, safety and delivery — all at once, and usually under pressure. The Mars Operations & Manufacturing portfolio is built for the people in that seat: operations directors, plant and factory managers, maintenance and engineering heads, production planners, and senior managers moving into operational leadership.
The category spans the full operations agenda: operations strategy and management, production planning and scheduling, capacity and demand management, maintenance management and asset reliability, lean manufacturing and waste reduction, total productive maintenance, inventory and materials control, operational cost reduction, plant performance and overall equipment effectiveness, and the management implications of automation and Industry 4.0. Each programme combines proven operations frameworks with practical case work, so delegates leave with tools and a personal action plan they can apply to their own site or operation.
Every course is an in-person programme of five or ten days, delivered at Mars Training Centre UK’s international training centres — London, Dubai, Istanbul, Paris, Amsterdam, Geneva, Kuala Lumpur, Doha and other locations. Each programme runs as two separate single-language cohorts: one delivered in English, and one delivered in Arabic by native-Arabic faculty, so operations teams can learn in the language they work in. Delegates who complete a programme receive a Mars Certificate of Completion.
